About Us

Better Times EmporiumSometime back in the early 80’s I began going to an antique and collectibles show out in Northern California. There I bought a 1952 Dual 27 model Coke machine, which I still have to this day!

From then on, I kept going back to that same show, held three times a year. I began collecting anything with the Coca-Cola script on it, as well as other memorabilia from the 50’s & 60’s, including automotive,  metal and porcelain signs, vintage lighters, toys, radios, serving trays, and whatever I could afford to get.

Along the way, a friend of mine began going to these shows with me. He too started collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. At some point, we both had so much of it that our wives thought it was time to “get rid of it”! So we did the next best thing – we rented our own spaces at the shows and began selling, buying, and trading! One thing led to another, and renting space in antique stores became the next logical thing to do.

Since then, my family and I relocated back here to Massachusetts and settled in Lakeville. I began working as a carpenter in 2004. During the next few years, I managed to rent space in a couple of antique co-ops, but it just wasn’t enough. There was something else I had always wanted to do – open my own store! So in June 2011, I stopped hammering nails and opened my own store!
